OBL mission and immigration top the agenda in Carney's session with reporters.

Highlights from Carney's remarks:

On OBL:

Despite complications, Pakistan is a "very important and vital" relationship because of "our national security interest."

"We do not apologize for the actions we took." (Re: OBL killing)

"Secrecy" was vital in OBL mission, most of Obama's senior staff didn't know.

Afghan agenda "has not changed" in the past 8 days, although admin is reviewing "situation on the ground."

On immigration:

"We take border security very seriously"... that's part of the reform Obama hopes to achieve.

U.S. will be at a disadvantage if it "excludes those who are willing and able" to participate.
