Wow. For a Cabinet member to say in public that he knows better than Congress is quite unusual and unexpected. In private, Cabinet secretaries all think exactly that on a regular basis but to give it voice at the same time as caving to Congress' view is a pretty amazing deal. From the beginning of the Obama administration, some of Holder's colleagues have questioned his political acumen. This one speaks for itself.
