Mississippian meets with NV Gov. Sandoval, state GOPers Tues. in Carson City.
Pay attention: Barbour is moving around to the Big Four early states, signing up top operatives, and even planting a flag in California, promising to make the Golden State competitive again for the Republicans at the presidential level. But he is also seeing how he likes the pace and lifestyle of a presidential candidate by sort of simulating what life would be like for him for a good long while if he decides to enter the race. With no money contest underway for the first two quarters of 2011 (SO SO different from 2007), a reality is obscured about the potential of a Barbour candidacy: he could turn out to blow the field away with his buck-raking prowess — or not.
