BAM coaches daughters’ basketball practice Sunday.
Motorcade left the White House at 10:22 and arrived at the Interior Department at 10:24. President Obama is coaching a basketball practice for Sasha, Malia and friends. Three or four small groups of tourists along the Ellipse snapped photos of the motorcade. The first lady is not here. Pool did not see the president or first daughters, although a group of girls, presumably the first daughters’ friends, was spotted entering the White House before the motorcade departed, around 10:10. We are waiting in the van.
The motorcade returned to the White House at 11:35 am. Uneventful ride back. A group of about eight girls in sports gear, the first daughters’ friends, climbed out of vans and entered the White House. Pool will break until tonight’s dinner with the governors.
