It should not be a "surprise" that Iran is a subject of "great concern" to international community. Those concerns are "well-founded" and "widely shared."

Clinton "confident" U.S. partnerships with foreign nations will "withstand this challenge."

There is "nothing laudable" in "endangering innocent people," nothing "brave" in "sabotaging peaceful relations" with other countries.

"Confidential communication" fundamental to government's ability to "serve the public interest."

It is "imperative" we have "candid reporting" from the field to "inform" decisions made in Washington.
