On “Morning Joe,” Mark Halperin discusses the large number of House seats in play — and the House of Labor coming alive.
Halperin: “And we see labor is fired up. Mr. Trumka and other labor leaders are sending lots of communication to their voters. I think that will save some Democrats but not enough to I think stop the wave.”
Scarborough: “If you go race-by-race-by-race I understand the numbers add up right?”
Halperin: “If you get out your giant electronic abacus and you go race-by-race there are so many races in play now. And a lot of Democrats like Barney Frank in Massachusetts, a powerful committee chairman in a very blue state who has had to open up his own personal savings to invest in his campaign to make sure he doesn’t lose. Again, there’s so many races in play, the swing of possible loses for Democrats you know literally could be 40 or 50 seats as a swing not as a total number.”
