On banks lifting foreclosure freezes:
We are looking to make sure process "adequately complies with the law...they can face legal action."

There continues to be "frustration" with economic recovery because "the hole is huge."

On whether Bill Clinton is more persuasive than Obama on the stump:
Clinton has been an "effective" voice and "tremendous advocate" for administration.

On Pakistan:
Admin sees "unprecedented level of cooperation" from Pakistanis in taking on insurgents. "Unlike in the past" it's now in two nations' "mutual well-being" to do so.

On whether admin will change strategy in working with GOP after midterms:
"We will continue to reach out... to solve the problems the American people most want us to address."
