Gingrich: “Over 60″

Newt Gingrich -- now, before, and always -- defies many of the conventions of American politics. His expressed second thoughts on calling Justice Sotomayor a "racist" remains the exception to his rules and practices in the Obama era.

Mr. Speaker predicts Republicans will have “the largest pick up since 1932.”

“I think the 10.1 percent unemployment number by Gallup is going to be devastating. I think that food stamps versus paychecks is very powerful.”

“I’m going to be a little bit more optimistic I think this tide is just continuing to build. I think the 10.1 percent unemployment number by Gallup is going to be devastating. I think that food stamps versus paychecks is very powerful. So I’m going to predict that we are probably going to be over 60 seat pick up and it will be historic. It will be the largest pick up since 1932.”
