Same-Sex Partners Get Fed Benefits — But Not Health Care

Obama signs a presidential memo Wednesday extending some benefits to gay and lesbian partners of federal employees.

Says at signing: “Extending equal benefits to the same-sex partners of Federal employees is the right thing to do.”
