Russian officials say Indian PM Singh and Pakistani President Zardari spoke briefly Tuesday on the sidelines of a regional summit.

State-run media reports the men shook hands, Singh told his counterpart “My mandate is to declare that Pakistan’s territory must not be used for terrorism.”
