Obama Picks Leader for Global AIDS Effort

Obama to nominate Dr. Eric Goosby, a former Clinton AIDS official, as the U.S. global AIDS coordinator.

He will face pressure to fulfill a campaign pledge to double U.S. foreign assistance from $25 billion to $50 billion by 2012.
