Ayatollah Ali Khamenei brushes off the president’s overtures Saturday saying U.S. policy under Obama hasn’t been any different toward Tehran.

Tells thousands in Mashhad: “They chant the slogan of change but no change is seen in practice. We haven’t seen any change.”

Comes after Obama sent Iran a video message Friday, on the Persian New Year, expressing hope for improved relations.
