Iran Downplays Obama’s Olive Branch


Tehran receives President Obama’s calls for cooperation cautiously, saying it welcomes the message but “minor changes will not end the differences” between the two countries.

Comes after Obama reaches out to Iran Friday in a video message offering “the promise of a new beginning” that is “grounded in mutual respect.” Watch video here.
