Senate leader says he plans to get the company to pay back at least some of the $165 million in bonuses after getting billions in bailout money.

Dems threaten to tax the bonuses at up to 91% through narrowly written legislation if AIG doesn’t return the money voluntarily.

Reid promises action in the next 24 hours, says Senate Finance Committee Chair Baucus will issue the proposal.
