Sen. Grassley backtracks remarks in a radio interview suggesting AIG employees getting bonuses have two options — resign or commit suicide.

Tells reporters Tuesday: “What I’m expressing here obviously is not that I want people to commit suicide. That’s not my notion.”

Says instead he wants them to repent for taking bonuses after having a part in the company’s collapse.
