D.C. Closer to Getting a Congressional Vote

The Senate approves legislation 61-37 Thursday giving full voting rights in the House to the District’s congressional delegate.

First time in 31 years the Senate has approved a D.C. voting-rights bill.

House will vote on the bill next week, where it’s likely to pass.
