Obama on Tax Woes: Nobody’s Perfect


Speaking in Elkhart, the president says his nominees with tax problems were right to withdraw their names.

“You can’t expect one set of folks to not pay their taxes when everyone else is paying theirs.”

But adds: “I believe these were honest mistakes… If you’re not going to appoint anyone who’s ever made a mistake in their life, then you’re not going to have anybody taking your jobs.”
