Lawmakers are set to vote Thursday on the president-elect's request to release the second half of the financial bailout money.
The $350 billion comes on top of Obama's push for an economic stimulus package that has grown to about $850 billion.
But: Dodd says more specifics need to be explained to secure Senate's support.
