Blago's Senate pick says he presented his credentials to the secretary of the Senate and was turned away after a 20-minute meeting Tuesday.

Says at presser outside Capitol: "I am not seeking to have any type of confrontation. I will now consult with my attorneys and we will determine what our next step will be."

Comes ahead of the midday swearing in ceremony on the Senate floor, which Burris isn't allowed to attend.
