Obama: Stimulus Won’t Get “Bogged Down in A Lot of Old-Style Politics”

The president-elect tells reporters after his meeting with economic advisers in D.C. that his team and Congress need to act quickly on a stimulus.

Says the economy is "getting worse," he's looking forward to meeting with Democratic and Republican congressional leaders Monday.

"They share the same sense of urgency that I do -- that we are going to move quickly and we're not going to get bogged down in a lot of old-style politics on either side." More remarks here.
