U.S. Household Debt Shrinks

For the first time in more than 50 years, household debt decreased.

Experts aren’t sure whether people are bringing their debt down voluntarily or if it’s imposed by foreclosures or denial of credit.

Plus: Labor Department reports Friday that wholesale prices dropped 2.2% in November.
