Obama Looks at First 1,000 Days

The Democrat lowers expectations when asked about first 100-day goals of an Obama administration in a Colorado radio interview, says he'd need more time to combat health care, energy, Iraq.

“The first 100 days is going to be important, but it's probably going to be more like the first 1,000 days that makes a difference.”

And/But: Maintains he'll aim to not waste anytime upfront. “I do think the next president's got to come quickly out of the box.”
