Obama Off the Trail to Visit Ailing Grandmother

The Land of Lincolner is in Hawaii Friday to spend time with his sick 85-year-old grandma.

Obama says he's not sure she'll make it to Election Day, and calls her "remarkable" and "one of the cornerstones of my life" in a taped interview with ABC News before his trip.

"I want to give her a kiss and a hug and we're going to find out what chores I can do around the house..."
