The Saturday Night Live legend tells Letterman Friday night her strategy for creating such a dead-on Sarah Palin impression.
"Not since 'Sling Blade' has there been a voice that anybody can do. Anybody can take a swing at this voice."
Says the voice is a little bit "Fargo," a little bit Reese Witherspoon in "Election," adding she also borrowed the Midwestern accent of her friend Paula's grandma.
