FRIDAY HOUSE BAILOUT VOTE IN JEOPARDY

TIME’s Jay Newton-Small reports the House is still short on GOP votes to pass the bailout legislation, vote won’t be scheduled unless more commit to switching by morning.

Vote would be postponed until the weekend to give Bush and the GOP more time to convince their members to vote for the deal.
