On media conference call, strategists DuHaime and Strimple acknowledge they are pulling back in Michigan and stopping advertising. Say those resources are being redirected to Maine, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. DuHaime: "If we see a swing back in our favor, we'll re-engage."
