McCain, Obama will face-off in their first presidential debate at 9 pm ET for 90-minutes at Ole Miss’ Gertrude C. Ford Center in Oxford.
The focus is foreign policy, but the economy will be front and center.
PBS’ Jim Lehrer will moderate the debate, which is broken into nine separate nine-minute segments.
He will pose a question, candidates will answer in two minutes each, then engage back and forth for five more minutes before the next question.
After the debate, TIME’S Mark Halperin will deliver his report cards here.
