At a town hall in Scranton, the Arizonan suggests Obama hasn’t offered a significant response to the financial rescue package.
“At a time of crisis, when leadership is needed, Senator Obama has simply not provided it. And the truth is that we don’t have time to wait for Senator Obama’s input for our nation to act.”
Says he’s “greatly concerned” about giving Paulson sole power over the package and calls for the creation of a bipartisan oversight board.
Also reassures voters at the Irish-American presidential forum he’ll continue to appoint a special envoy for Northern Ireland to mediate conflict there.
