Obama Mocks McCain’s Financial Proposals

Speaking in Golden, Colorado, the Land of Lincolner unveils his plan to revamp financial regulations, curb special interests and expand the economy.

Also hits McCain on the financial crisis, saying he “did nothing” to head it off, quotes him saying “I’m always for less regulation.”

Says of McCain’s idea for a 9/11-style commission:

“Senator McCain offered up the oldest Washington stunt in the book –- you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem.”
