Bush to Bring Home 8,000 Troops from Iraq by February
The president announces his withdrawal decision a speech to the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. Tuesday morning.
Also says he'll be deploying more troops to Afghanistan. Adds he's vowed the country's full support to Pakistan as well.
"Here is the bottom line: While the enemy in Iraq is still dangerous, we have seized the offensive, and Iraqi forces are becomingly increasingly capable of leading and winning the fight."
