AP reports the New York Senator is expected to formally make the announcement Wednesday at a Colorado Convention Center reception. She has invited all of her elected delegates to the event. COULD DENVER UNITY BE IN THE AIR....??? And/But: CBS News-NY Times poll finds 42% of delegates originally pledged to Clinton and 8% of superdelegates intend to vote for her at the roll call. Pelosi Briefly Evacuated After Weapons Scare

The House Speaker was briefly removed from her Denver hotel Saturday after a man allegedly entered the lobby with two rifles and a pistol. The man said he intended to have the weapons repaired at a local gun shop. He remains in custody. Permalink

Anti-war marchers were peaceful, though police reported some arrests. Some demonstrators yelled at a Fox News crew interviewing Professor Ward Churchill. Permalink

Report: Bill Clinton To Accompany Wife to Convention Hall

A convention official tells the Atlantic's Ambinder that the former president will join his wife at the Pepsi Center Tuesday. Unclear whether he will appear on stage. Before boarding his campaign plane Sunday, the Senator again welcomes Biden to his campaign and gives an update on the convention: "I can’t wait to hear Michelle speak tomorrow night. Michelle Obama Arrives in Denver

The potential first lady -- accompanied by daughters and her mother -- lands at Denver International Airport at approximately 2:30 pm ET. Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter is at the airport to meet her. She is scheduled to get a walk-through of the Pepsi Center stage Monday morning, accompanied by the press, and slated to speak Monday night at the convention. Plus: Michelle Obama scheduled to hold Tuesday discussion on economy and family with Govs. Gregoire, Napolitano and Sebelius. Permalink
