In his latest written statement, the Land of Lincolner says "it is past time for the Russian government to immediately sign and implement a cease-fire."
Comes after President Dmitri Medvedev says in a TV statement he's ordering an end to the Georgian offensive.
But Georgia insists Russian forces are still bombing and shelling.
