The Illinois Senator's Michigan campaign issues statement on court decision to jail Kwame Kilpatrick.

"These are very serious charges. Senator Obama believes that the legal process will resolve them appropriately...."

The order comes after Kilpatrick -- the subject of an ongoing investigation -- violates his bond.
