McCain to Apologize to Reporter

The Arizona Senator is expected to call a Florida newspaper reporter who objected to being removed by security from a McCain event last week while other reporters remained. The campaign has already apologized: “We feel terrible about it.” Permalink

The DNC-host city issues a permit to pro-Clinton and women's groups for a gathering on August 26. The date -- along with being the 88th anniversary of women's suffrage -- is the second day of the Democratic convention on which the New York Senator is rumored to be speaking. After a brief break from the negative spots Tuesday, the Arizonan's camp returns to hammering their rival in latest ad. Keeps up the popular "celebrity" theme while slamming him on taxes, spending.
