The campaign confirms Sunday morning that he'll deliver the major speech of his overseas trip Thursday afternoon in Tiergarten Park at the Siegessäule, or the Berlin Victory Column.
He intends to discuss the need to strengthen Transatlantic relations to meet 21st century challenges.
The event is open to the public, raising the possibility of a huge crowd.
