Gore Announces Major Energy Challenge

The former vice president sets a goal for the nation to produce every kilowatt of electricity through wind, sun and other Earth-friendly energy sources within 10 years in Thursday D.C. speech.

"The answer is to end of reliance on carbon-based fuels.... The time is now. I for one do not believe out country can withstand 10 more years of the status quo.”
