Obama Responds to U.S. Joining Iran Talks

The Illinois Senator praises the decision in a statement, saying, "Now that the United States is involved, it should stay involved with the full strength of our diplomacy."

Earlier: William Burns, America's third-highest ranking diplomat, will join colleagues from other world powers at a weekend meeting in Switzerland with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator.

A break in the Bush administration policy, it's the first time a U.S. rep will attend such talks.
