The DNC head kicks off a voter registration drive Thursday starting in Bush's hometown of Crawford, Texas.
"Many of them voted for George Bush. We think they want something new and we're going to provide it for them."
The bus tour will also stop Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Georgia in July.
RNC response: "It will take more than a road trip by Howard Dean to convince voters to support the Democrats' agenda of higher taxes and bigger government."
