Obama’s campaign manager says at a press briefing that the Libertarian candidate could play a particularly large spoiling role for McCain in Alaska and Georgia, which may tip the scales in favor of Obama.
Suggests Barr could rack up “6, 7, 8 percent” in Alaska and get 4 percent in his home state of Georgia, “most of it coming out of McCain’s hide.”
Main focus of the briefing at the DNC headquarters was on Obama’s plan to broaden the electoral playing the field.
