Earlier: McCain aide Scheunemann says Obama is advocating “a policy of delusion” due to a “September 10th mindset.”

Giuliani statement slams Obama’s “fundamental lack of judgment regarding our national security.”

Obama supporter Sen. Kerry says McCain has “an Iraq War mindset” that “completely misunderstands and dangerously underestimates the threats of the 21st century.”

Former counter-terror czar Richard Clarke says McCain’s aides are distorting Obama’s position and “trying to frighten Americans.”
