The networks all recapped Monday’s Obama-Gore event.
ABC’s “Good Morning America” aired more of its Obama interview, and Stephanopoulos broke down new poll results. Said numbers are “closer than it should be,” noting weakness among older voters and especially married white women.
GMA will air interview with Cindy McCain on Thursday.
On CNN’s “American Morning,” McCain aide Fiorina promoted the Senator’s energy plan and talked up his appeal to women.
On “Morning Joe,” Fiorina defended McCain’s tax plan and said Obama’s rhetoric is not matching reality. Jokingly told Mika to “get another question” when she again asked about her VP prospects.
On CNN, Obama supporter Sen. McCaskill criticized Bush and McCain’s Iraq policies, said Obama gets regular briefings on the war even though he has not visited recently.
