In an interview with The Boston Herald, McCain says he can’t control every attack ad aimed at Obama, and fully expects he’ll face a similar barrage.

Also heaps praise on Romney, calling him “a strong candidate” who has “earned a very important place in the future of the Republican Party.”

Plus: He’ll visit Ottawa next Friday to deliver a free trade speech to the Economic Club of Canada. Tickets for the luncheon sold out in minutes.
