McCain Taps NYC’s Coffers

The presumptive GOP nominee spends Tuesday evening in Manhattan padding his war chest.

The first event: A joint RNC fundraiser at the 21 Club, with a $28,500 donation per ticket. Notable attendees included Utah Gov. Huntsman (wearing a black cowboy hat), country star John Rich.

The second event: At the St. Regis Hotel for those who raise $100,000 and higher for the campaign. He walked in with former presidential candidate and NYC mayor Giuliani.

Comes after reports that the press would not be allowed at events because McCain wasn’t making remarks. He did speak after all.
