Bush Predicts Successor Will Follow Hard Line on Iran


In an interview with The Times of London, the President says once the next commander-in-chief assesses “what will work or what won’t work in dealing with Iran,” he’ll stick with the current policy.

Also suggests he’s concerned an Obama presidency might open cracks in the West’s united front toward Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Plus: Expressed regret at divisions over the war. “I think that in retrospect I could have used a different tone, a different rhetoric.”
