Obama, Clinton meet in Washington, D.C. Thursday night to discuss plans to "bring the party together."

Meeting at Sen. Feinstein's home takes place after Obama spends the day campaigning in Virginia.

Obama spokesman Gibbs: "Senator Obama and Senator Clinton did have occasion to meet this evening. It's the end of the primary process. They wanted to talk about bringing these campaigns together in unity."

Joint statement: "Senator Clinton and Senator Obama met tonight and had a productive discussion about the important work that needs to be done to succeed in November."
