.... to pick her. Clinton-supporting BET founder Bob Johnson says he's urging the Congressional Black Caucus to pressure Obama to select the New York Senator for Veep. Clinton aide Lanny Davis launches Veep push (without coordination of the campaign, he says) with a petition drive, new website and a direct appeal to Obama in writing. Associated Press reports Clinton's national finance chair Hassan Nemazee is pushing for her on the ticket, claiming they could raise $200-$250 million for the fall. And/But: Politico: "Clinton’s unwillingness to recognize Obama as the victor only increased the need for Obama to act like a president and not like a doormat. And denying her a vice presidential slot may be a way of doing that."
