McCain Goes on Climate Change Push

In Portland, Oregon speech Monday, the presumptive GOP nominee argues the country must try to control global warming while adhering to free-market principles.

“In the coming weeks, I intend to address many of the great challenges that America’s energy policies must meet.” Full remarks here.

Intends to hold roundtable on environment in Seattle Tuesday, speak about environmental goals and the global economy Wednesday followed by a major speech on the subject Thursday.
