The Chicago Rep. calls up the NY Times to complain about his fellow Democrat's remark Friday:

“I have a lot of respect for Ted Kennedy, but I don't know how the hell he comes off saying that... The gratuitous attack on her is uncalled for and wrong.”

Kennedy had panned the idea of Clinton as Obama's veep, saying he should instead choose someone who appeals to Americans' "nobler aspirations."

Meanwhile, John Edwards cautions Clinton on Sunday night's "Face the Nation": She "has to be really careful she's not damaging our prospects."
