In morning conference call, Obama general counsel Bob Bauer says the American Leadership Project is violating campaign finance law. The group is sponsoring a new anti-Obama TV ad in Indiana.
Bauer compares the group to the organization behind the anti-Kerry Swift Boat ads from 2004.
“This organization, the ALP, is a Swift Boat wannabe, that’s what it is, and is violating the law in the exact same way.”
