Obama's controversial former pastor speaks, answers questions at a National Press Club breakfast in Washington, D.C. Gets roadblocked cable coverage.

Explains comments about 9/11 saying: "You cannot do terrorism on other people and expect it never to come back to you. Those are biblical principles not Jeremiah Wright bombastic divisive principles.” Watch video above.

Continues to criticize the government on Iraq, AIDS, etc., while saying his congregation stands with the oppressed.

Adds Obama didn't denounce him -- he distanced himself after not hearing the full sermon, like most of the media.

Also said he has told Obama that if he's elected he's "coming after" him on U.S. policy differences. "Whether he gets elected or not, I'm still going to have to be answerable to God..."
